Horses have always been Dr. Voirol's greatest passion. While she shadowed many different equine practitioners during her pursuit to her DVM, her favorite doctors were those that practiced Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy (VSMT). Dr. Voirol quickly decided that her future job contract would have to include the ability to attend a program to learn animal chiropractic for dogs and horses.
In 2024, Dr. Voirol completed the Animal Chiropractic Education Source animal chiropractic 101 course and then passed her American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) certification exam. Since then she has been changing the lives of her patients and their owners by helping them to live healthier and happier lives.
The most satisfying and gratifying cases are the ones where the owner's have felt so helpless within the constraints of traditional veterinary medicine to manage their pets' pain. Then, after as much as a single adjustment their quality of life has drastically improved. When the patients walk in limping and walk out feeling better than they have in years, it is a great feeling.
Dr. Voirol works with dogs, cats, and horses at this time. She enjoys working with performance and working animals, so that they can go out and perform at their best. It is also amazing to make the average house pet feel significantly more comfortable in their own body.
Animal chiropractic, when done by someone that is certified and truly understands the intricate details of the animal nervous system, can make a huge difference for every animal and their families. There are few limits to the kinds and ways that animal chiropractic can help our animals in all stages of life. It is never too soon, or too late to seek out chiropractic care for your animals.
