Food Animal Adjusting –
2024 Schedule: October 18th-20th (SOLD OUT)
One of the biggest benefits of animal chiropractic is that it improves nerve to muscle function. Muscle mass will decrease in 6 to 7 days in the event an animal has any degree of damage or inflammation that affects the nervous system. Chiropractic is the treatment modality of choice in resolving these events quickly. Not to be confused with BETTER food, more food isn’t necessarily helping the human population. From the affects we see in animals and humans the use of chemicals like glyphosate, one of the most widely used and toxic chemicals known to humans, and widespread antibiotic use in pesticides will make food production impossible in the future. It will make reproduction among animal species more difficult, more costly eventually making food less avail-able to the average wage earner, increasing health care costs beyond the ability of the average family.
The use of animal chiropractic on animals that are part of the food chain helps to reduce the “need” for chemicals in the environment that farmers use to produce more food. Stress is one area where chiropractic influences the animal all the way up to slaughter. Animals with lower total cortisol levels throughout their lives will have less stress when in a stressful situation. These animals will have had few injuries, fewer fearful situations, and get along with their neighbors more reasonably. All of this is the result of a more normal nervous system, less fatigue, better immune function, and better digestion through better vagal tone. By implementing animal chiropractic in the smaller farm setting, these producers will be better able to produce BETTER food at a rate that will contribute to their continued successful income, growth and help to make better food more available to consumers. While small family farms are more labor intensive, they are more beneficial to the planet. Animal chiropractic is one key to helping the small family-farms become more fiscally sound and maintain that status, which in turn reflects more health for the planet. Though more people now live in urban settings, those inhabitants still rely on food produced by farmers, and the health of the city environment is dependent upon the things they consume. More chickens are making their way into backyards every day. Expanding animal chiropractic into food animal work is important for the health of the planet. You are the superheroes who can save it.

Food Animal Adjusting
There is a growing need for animal chiropractors to treat food animals, whether it is a pig, a goat, a chicken, a cow, or a yak. It is our duty to know and understand the vertebral formula, the LOC and the types of pathology that can be addressed when we correct the subluxation. This weekend starts in the A.C.E.S. Bone Room where the skeletons of the species to be adjusted will be examined. Lectures where technique set-ups and safety for each species will be discussed. Neurology and Physiology are discussed. Marketing ideas to increase your community's awareness for benefits of adjusting Food Animals is included. A minimum of 10 hours will be spent adjusting various species of Food Animals including but not limited to pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, sheep, goats, and cattle. The animal's adjusted will include some that are show animals and some that are production animals. In past years the students have each adjusted over 60 animals each.
